A Board engaged August Advisory to course-correct a risk management framework redesign that had lost direction. With limited resources and a GRC system project already in motion, we took a step back - aligning strategy, purpose, and values as the true north.
By engaging the Executive Team in real conversations about the value of risk, we helped to surface opportunities and pain points and built a two-phase program that reconnected Risk, the Board and the business.
Phase 1: Reset the foundations - people, systems, processes, and governance - while reorienting the GRC system project.
